About

Why missionaries need a Church Planting Helps Missionary—

For the Missionary needing to come Home (Both U.S. and Foreign):

Many, if not most, missionaries do not have trained, qualified men to fill in for them during furlough and for leaves of absence from the field. (This is especially true for missionaries on their first term.)

Here are the options for the missionary needing to come home:

(1) He does not take the furlough which his family needs.

(2) He is forced to close down his work while he is home.

(3) He leaves the work to men who are not adequately trained. (Very often in this case, the missionary goes back to the field and has to start over in rebuilding his work or finds that his work has been infiltrated by charismatic and/or other false doctrines.)

— For the Struggling Missionaries:

They become frustrated, discouraged, and stagnant as they see no fruit for their efforts and their work struggling on “life support.”

They do not have anyone to help them share the load in soul winning, song leading, or just to have someone there to listen.

If they do not get help, many missionaries end up leaving the field for good.

When a missionary leaves the field, the next missionary has a much harder time of it!

How we will help these missionaries:

We will work while the missionary comes home so that there is no interruption in the work.

We will help in the work through preaching, soul winning and music.

We have experience in the areas of preaching, song leading, teaching and soul winning.

We have training through Baptist University of America and Andersonville Theological Seminary and 36 years of serving and helping in the Canaan Baptist Church of Covington, GA.
