Dear Faithful Supporters,
Wow, it is October already. This year is going by fast. It is hard to believe we have been back in America for almost 9 months.
We are still serving on Lookout Mountain at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Menlo, Ga. as interim pastor. We have been busy helping them search for their new pastor. We have had several recommendations. We along with the church members have been praying and seeking God’s will for Pleasant Grove Baptist. While we are praying and seeking the next pastor of Pleasant Grove, the church is staying strong and the ministry of the church continues.
We had the privilege to attend a Church Rescue Conference in September. It was very informative and showed the need to help rescue churches across America that are close to closing their doors. Please be praying for laborers and for churches to see the need of Church Rescue.
We also attended a mission conference at Faith Baptist Church in Beaver Springs, Pa. At the mission conference we got to be with Joshua and Frances Daku. They were with us in Kiribati for a few days and I was able to be apart of Joshua’s ordination service in Fiji. They are just starting deputation and we are excited to see all the Lord allows them to do in Fiji.
Please help us pray Pleasant Grove Baptist Church will call a pastor soon (in God’s timing). While we are still at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, we are dedicated to serving there for as long it takes. We know God already has our next place of service, either here in America or abroad. We have been contacted by several asking about different areas of service. Help us pray God shows us His will for our next place to minister.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3: 5-6
